Case 194

Enunciado

A previously healthy 15-year-old male patient has a history of a nodular lesion in the left paramedian region of the neck. It was noticed four years ago, after three episodes of upper respiratory tract infection followed by purulent secretion drainage, resulting in a scar on the neck of the patient (Figure 1). On physical examination, it was observed that the nodule moves with swallowing and tongue movements.

Question:
Taking into account the image and the clinical history, which is the best approach?
